How OVLG handled the situation?

NF was searching for a Debt Consolidation Company to consolidate her huge credit card debts. She was quite anxious about her debt amount as it was more than $50K and was not able to get a trustworthy company who could handle the accounts for her. After a long research, she decided to go with Oak View Law Group, after going through with the customer reviews the company had on its site.

NF contacted Oak View Law Group in the month of February 2015 and spoke with Phillip Kennedy, one of the senior most Client Intake manager. Phillip carefully listened the problems being faced by NF, and explained the entire debt settlement program and cleared all her doubts. NF joined the program in the same month with a total outstanding balance of more than $50,000. As the debt amount was too high, her file got transferred to an experienced Case Manager Harry Miller. Harry started working on her file once NF made her first payment in the month of March. Within few months, Harry was able to settle one of her account with Citi Bank for 35% of the outstanding balance. NF has all her remaining accounts under negotiations and waiting to be settled. Harry expects to settle the remaining accounts too at less than 50% of the amount owed.

NF is delighted with the settlement and decided to reward the performance with a Video Testimonial.

  3. Please note that the settled amount is neither consistent nor predictable, and it depends on the creditors.
