However, I'm warning you again that dare not try to pay the bills as you are now not legally bound to pay them. Even if you don't pay them, you won't see any negative mark on your credit report. As the SOL period is long passed, they can't sue you for the bills. However, they will always try to collect it from you. Never pay them a single penny on the outstanding accounts. Then the collector has lost his legal rights to pursue you for the debt as the statute of limitations period is over.
