Which is better – Wills or trust?

There's a difference between wills and trusts. Trust is the best way to avoid probate. It is not at all subject to probate. So, you can easily keep your financial affairs private. You can reduce settlement expenses and estate taxes. On the other hand, wills need to be validated by probate court. It may take between 6 months and 2 years to validate it through the probate court.
