We are two siblings and a rental property was left to two of us through a trust. I was recently made aware that my sister has given up her rights to the property and received a lump sum amount from the trust in return. Does that mean that I am the only beneficiary now and am entitled to the entire property? Or does she still get a share of the rent which are being deposited in the trust account?

It depends on the fact that whether your sister had signed a disclaimer or waiver and also if you're the only intestate heir to her. The limited information provided here makes it difficult to understand the actual scenario. A thorough review of the trust and whatever your sister had signed, to give up her rights, is necessary before a solution can be provided. You would need to consult an attorney for the purpose.
