If I make an arrangement to pass over my house to my son through a living trust, will that property be protected from my creditors?

No, it won’t be protected from your creditors. Any of your creditors, can go after your property, if they win a lawsuit against you. The creditors can always find out who inherited the house from the public records, even after the demise of the debtor. They can then pursue your son, and demand for the payments.
