Hi, consumers put two negative reviews regarding the same issue against my business. When I checked, I found it was done using two separate email ids but sent from the same ip address. How should I take steps against that person who is intentionally trying to defame my business’ reputation? Thanks!

As you say, it was done from the same ip address, it seems that it was done intentionally with a genuine purpose behind. You should consult a cyber crime attorney without any delay as the reviews can disappear at any time.

Nothing much can be done about a negative review, as it’s not technically defamatory. However, if the person violated the terms and guidelines of the website by posting the comments, you can reach out to the moderatos of the website to remove those.

Actually, what matters is the language of the review.
