You can file a case anytime, but you need to ensure first that you win and for that you have to build up a strong case.

My doctor's office is affiliated with a hospital and I had to go to that hospital for emergency. I didn't know they could look through my records at the hospital. I was embarrassed because my doctor's office stated I didn't have good hygiene on my medical record nor know what the doctor mean by it. Can I sue my doctor's office?

You can file a case anytime, but you need to ensure first that you win and for that you have to build up a strong case. It’s not clear that on which grounds you want to sue – as they went through your records or since they mentioned the lack of hygiene?

First of all, you have to find out what has been meant by lack of good hygiene on your report, and how it's affecting your reputation or benefits.
