You can sue the collection agency for FDCPA violations. They can't threaten to arrest you.

A company has been harassing me by saying that I owe from an electronic loan that I had taken back in 2007 but they refuse to provide me with any valid documentation for my sole satisfaction. This is the third company that has contacted me and this time they ask about a different accrued amount but originated from the same credit firm. I have no clue about this loan and they always threatening me by saying that they are going to arrest me if I don’t pay back the amount.

Everybody is entitled to receive a free copy of his/her credit report each year. Visit www.AnnualCreditReport.com and get a free copy of your credit report. If the loan is not there in your credit report, then the collection attempts are definitely scam and you can obviously sue them. My best advice would be to get help of an fdcpa attorney asap!!
