Try to avoid bankruptcy as long as possible.

I have too much of medical and credit card debts, amounting to around $30k, and it keeps on increasing with all the interests and charges. I am finding it difficult to continue with the payments. I’m afraid that I won’t be allowed to take out a debt consolidation loan due to my past credit records and the huge amount that I need. I don’t know what else to do. Can anyone suggest some other options?

Well, you can opt for settlement if consolidation doesn’t work for you. Seek expert assistance if you can’t do it on your own. Try to avoid bankruptcy as long as possible. Go for a Chapter-13 first. If nothing else works, then the last remedy for you would be Chapter 7.
