mom received letter today claiming for a debt which is more than 23 years old. Her ex-husband had filed for bankruptcy after the divorce, and now after so long, the creditor is trying to collect! No records. Nothing! When we called up the number, they refuse to give out further details and just saying, she owes the amount as her ex-spouse has shed all his dues with bk. What can we do?
