Can they garnish my salary & or bank accounts if a default judgment is awarded?

Once a creditor is awarded with a default judgment, he can do many things to collect. Unless your income is very small, in most states, a creditor can garnish your wages. The creditor can also seize money in your bank accounts, no matter whether it's just in your name only or jointly with someone else.
