The liability remains with the original cardholder only.

I had only been the authorized user of my ex-spouse's credit card. Now that he has landed himself amidst huge outstanding bills, can the creditor come after me? Will it affect my score ?

Authorized users only have charging privileges with the account. The liability remains with the original cardholder only. So, you're safe. And if you're not liable for the debt, evidently it won't show up on your report.

No, the creditor can't hold you liable for the credit card debt if you had only been the authorized user. And no way, it'll affect your credit score.
