My credit score is 512. I have made some wrong decisions in the past and my credit score is the proof for it. It will take some time to fix my credit score. I have almost $10000 in medical debt. What should I possibly do to fix it?

Yes, it'll take some time to fix your credit. That's true. As far as your medical debt is concerned, you can either negotiate with the accounts department and reduce the bill amount or work out an affordable payment plan with the hospital.

You need to take some positive steps to fix your credit. For instance: keep your accounts current, maintain a low credit-utilization ratio, remove inaccurate negative items from your credit report.
