Our parent company functions and is situated abroad. The US company has made lots more than the budget this year and we want to keep some cash instead of giving out the whole amount to the parent company. Could any one suggest how we can leave or spend the extra amount?

First, see what agreement is there between the parent and the local company. You can certainly keep some money if it’s over the budget. You can put aside some for contingencies or for future expenditures such as maintenance or acquisition of real estate. These are valid reasons to keep money that is over budget for your local establishment. Just talk to the appropriate person of the parent company and see if anything turns up.
