If I file bankruptcy, will the creditor and debt collector still contact me?

Once you file bankruptcy, creditors or debt collectors can't make collection calls after they're notified about your filing status. If they do call you again, then you can inform your bankruptcy attorney about it. He will take appropiate measures.
