You can disinherit children who are above 23 years in Louisiana through a special clause in your will.

If you want to leave your children out of your will could they combat it and possess some of your property or is there a certain clause to protect this?

As per Louisiana law, your children are ‘forced heirs’ unless they are disinherited by the clauses in your will. As long as they are under 23 years, or incapable of taking care of their own matters, they are eligible to inherit your property in case of your death unless your will says otherwise.
