A colleague of mine rubbed and scratched me. I went to the police but they didn’t file any report. However, I quit after telling them what had happened to me. I heard later that the person was show caused for his behavior but no disciplinary action was taken against him. It has been now around 6 weeks since the issue. I came to know from some place that that colleague is now going to sue me for defamation. Can she do that? I need some protection as I’m very nervous.
