A YouTube video with a song attached to it was performed by someone who called me a "hoe". Can I sue them for defamation?

Someone who performed the song and directed you as a 'hoe' did mention your name? Did he/she utter your name for a single time in the video? Even if it was done, you cannot demand that it was you who was meant for as there are several people out with the same name. Well, even if you can prove that somehow, you have to prove before the court that the video somehow put your reputation at stake. Consult with a defamation lawyer practicing in your state for details. Hope this helps!
