One of my coworkers has accused me of “being too friendly” with my boss. The said coworker went to the house of my boss and told his wife that she should come to the office and keep an eye on her husband and me. This has completely shattered me and not it has become almost impossible to continue my daily tasks. I am even thinking of quitting my job. The employee was not even show caused for the same. She did not provide any proof to support her statement but made the accusations. I’m really hurt, stressed and disappointed. Can I bring a defamation case against her the (coworker)?
