Furthermore, the income deduction orders can be issued for the ongoing payments also. It’s not necessary that you have to be behind on the payments to receive the orders, while wage garnishments are usually done when you default on your financial obligations or debts.

Income deduction orders are issued only in limited circumstances and not for all kinds of debts., for e.g. in child support and bankruptcy cases etc. And the garnishment limits are not applicable to the income deduction orders.
