You may come to settlement terms and consolidate your debt during litigation or after a judgment has been filed. You can always settle a lawsuit out of court, but the rate of savings will not be as good as, when settling debt that is not in the courts.

Well, having a judgement does not really mean that a consolidation company won't work with you. I don't think that judgement will be included in the program since those payments are court ordered.
