Can collection agency still pursue me for loan guaranteed before divorce?

I had guaranteed a loan for my ex-wife 5 years ago. Now we're divorced and she has moved out of state. The account has shifted to collection and they're calling me up to recover the dues. Am I still liable? Even after the divorce?
