It would be best to settle the debt as long as it is valid and within the SOL period.

I took some loans a few years back and now a collection agency is harassing me everyday. Should I try to come to arrangements with them? Would that be a good idea? I'm not least worried about my credit anymore as my ex-husband ruined it.

Do you really feel you'd be able to come to terms with them? If you are really not worry about your credit, you can try a settlement with them. Hope this helps!! :)

I don't think that would be a bad idea. The collectors might sue you. They could even garnish your wags and tap into your assets. However, see whether or not the SOL period has expired. If yes, then you need not worry about any debt. See the following link to see the SOL period for your state.
