i took out a loan on line and was deposited the next day didnt think i would get it cause a message said they needed more documents from me. for $800 dollars they are charging me 9 payments of $233.00 up till 2014 with outrageous APR. first 4 payments dont even go to principle, can they do that?

However, since they're illegal to lend in your state, you can chose not to pay them anything. You can pay them only the principal amount of the loan, and that also out of moral obligation. They won't be able to take any legal action against you to recover their money.

Yes, they can charge the way they want. You took out a loan from a illegal lender, and they are going to charge interest for that financial assistance. You can check out their licensing with the State's department of Finance/Commerce. Go to the state department's website and do a license check to find out.
