Try to settle again in the future, and see if they accept your deal then.

SOL expired on American Express account and so has the reporting limits. Though I'm willing to settle, they're not up for it. They'll be denying any further credit to me, and is still continuing with the collections. It still shows on my report. What can I do?

No, you can't do anything if they deny any further credit to you, and you can't do anything either if they choose not to settle. Since, they can't sue you for it, you can always wait sometime longer. Try to settle again in the future, and see if they accept your deal then.

It still shows on your report since it's still supposed to. SOL expiry doesn't mean that your debts are going to be erased from your report.
