What do you mean by harassment actually? Has the debt collector abused you? Has he threatened to file a lawsuit against you?

Debt collectors can call you regarding a debt even if it has crossed the SOL period. It won't be considered as harassment. If the debt has not crossed 7 years, then it can still be reported on your credit report.
