I have heard that creditors can't look at my credit report without my permission. Is it true? Some creditors have placed hard inquiries on my credit report. What to do

Creditors can pull your credit report under permissible purpose. Usually, hard inquiries are placed when you apply for new credit cards and loans. So, have you applied for any line of credit recently.
