I have stopped receiving collection letters, but the accounts show up in collections on my credit report. I do not know what collectors these are from. How do I find out more information on this?

Yes, you're entitled to a free copy of your credit report from all the 3 CRAs. You can take out a copy and check for all kinds of financial details. Your report is a document that will have all such vital information about your creditors and collection agents.

Check out your credit report again. You can get the name of the collection agency from there.
