Introduction:
Oak View Law Group is a law firm registered with the California Bar Association & accredited by Better Business Bureau
Problem:
Debt Amount $1406 these were divided among 3 creditors. All 3 were Payday Loans.
Plan of action:
DE’s loan amount was not a big one, but all 3 being payday loans, was taking a toll on her financially. It seemed to her that she would forever be indebted to these payday loan companies. The principal amount never seemed to decrease no matter how much she paid monthly & for how long.
Implementation:
Sean was assigned to assist her in negotiating the best possible settlement offers.
Creditor I – Sign My Loan:
Sean first negotiated with them for $150, however this was declined by the creditor & they claimed not to have received the POA. The POA was sent again. Finally on 13thOct09, Sean was able to once again negotiate with the creditor. They however were ready to settle for 3$319.20. This was accepted by the customer. On the 10/29/2009, $319.20 was paid to the collection agency.
Creditor II – Instant Cash USA/ARM:
Both the customer’s accounts were with the same collection agency & she was anxious to settle both as soon as possible. An offer of $336 was made & accepted by the customer. 10/22/2009 $336 was paid to the collection agency.
Results:
DE came to OVLG in June 2009 entrapped at the hands of payday loan companies. By November 2009 she walked debt free.
