		<description>The remedy to consolidate credit should not only aim at one lump sum payment but at lowering repayments considerably as you suggest. Moreover, unless one has the negotiating skills they should use a reputable professional company, especially if one is forced to use a secured loan.</description>

		<description>Great posts!  Many people take it for granted that a little work to consolidate credit will actually benefit them.  Many people don&#039;t know any better and go for the easy route - bankruptcy!  You&#039;re correct, it should be the last choice.</description>

		<description>great!the option of taking a loan is a no-no for me.I&#039;ve never really bought the idea of using a loan to pay off a loan. the only way that could work is only if there is an urgent demand to pay off credit card debt and you have an sort of investment that would will an interest in say 6-9 months with which you could conveniently pay off that debt. in such cases getting a credit card debt loan could work. then again, it wouldn&#039;t hurt to get counseling first. in fact, i strongly recommend counseling as the first step for anyone looking to clear off any kind of debt.</description>
